Inktober 2018

October has flown by. I have been participating in Inktober, an illustration-a-day exercise that was started by Artist, Jake Parker, and has swept the illustrator world as a great way to improve our skills. Jake sent out a prompt list, a word for each day. We are to create every day per that prompt. For me, the goal this month is to learn to simplify my illustrations and yet keep them interesting, work under a tight deadline, explore ink using Adobe Photoshop and ProCreate. On day 4, I learned a valuable lesson, as I took my illustration of Hermione Grainger to a completed stage...which was 4 days later, therefore, putting me behind for the whole month. I have a few days to finish all the prompts. I hope to get there! Here are some examples of what I have done so far.
